Ocean SF has been an incubator for creating leaders and future entrepreneurs through our Summer internship program, which began in 2021 with our first seven interns. Sydney Chaney Thomas, an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley, taught a course called Effective Leadership and Management that summer, and she began using the class content to educate her interns on leadership and management skills. Since then, we have had an internship program that has helped to develop young leaders.

In 2021, my daughter Paris suggested turning Ocean SF into a leadership incubator because that’s the part of running Ocean SF that I love the most: turning people into great leaders.
